About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Technician to join our O&M team for PV and BESS clusters in Uzbekistan.
The role involves carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of solar power and battery storage plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily and preventive electrical maintenance on PV and BESS systems.

• Monitor and inspect substation equipment (transformers, switchgears, relays, etc.) and report abnormalities.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in circuits, wiring, transformers, motors, and control systems.

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.

• Support commissioning, testing, and calibration of LV/MV/HV apparatus and SCADA-related systems.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.

• Ensure adherence to HSE procedures and NOMAC standards.

• Participate in continuous improvement and technical qualification programs (Mishkaty TQP L4).

Requirements

Education:

• Technical qualification or diploma in Electrical Maintenance or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operation or maintenance of PV & BESS systems preferred.

• Understanding of electrical systems, substation components, and transformers (LV/MV/HV).

• Familiarity with local electrical standards and safety practices.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of SCADA systems and communication protocols.

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues independently.

• Basic English (reading and understanding technical documents).

• Team player with good collaboration and reporting skills.

• Electrical Group License: Category 5 (local requirement).

Work Conditions

• Shift-based schedule (40 hours/week)

• Work environment: PV & BESS cluster sites in Uzbekistan.
