Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Research and Evaluate Logistics service providers with a proven track record in the solar industry multimodal transportation, Consider quality, cost, and reliability
• Build Strong Relationships: Establishing good relationships with suppliers can lead to better services and priority during high demand of transportation and custom clearance services;
• Diversify Logistics Service Provider Base: Avoid reliance on a single service providerr to mitigate risk;
• Forecast Demand Accurately: Use data and market trends to forecast demand;
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to expedite the onshore logistical and custom clearance services;
• Good knowledge of transport documents by Sea/Rail/Road and Air;
• Good knowledge of customs clearance formalities and knowledge of local customs posts in Uzbekistan especially Tashkent / Samarkand / Bukhara;
• Proven Track record of coordination with local Logistics service providers and import customs clearance service providers;
• Good knowledge of local transportation routes / regulations and permissions required if any from local transport department for specialised cargo or OOG;
• Expedite and coordinate between supplier and Logistics service provider to expedite the onshore services to reduce storage costs and minimize the risk of damage to sensitive components, items and materials;
• Follow and implement the HSE procedures and policies during the onshore transportation from Tashkent Terminal to job site;
• Choose the Right Mode of Transportation: Consider factors like cost, distance, and component sensitivity;
• Plan for Custom Clearance: Understand and comply with the import regulations of the destination country to avoid delays;
• Coordination with Installation Teams: The delivery schedules should always align with the installation planning timeline;
• Coordinate with company warehouse manager for smooth transportation / unloading and returm of empty containers to the nominated terminal;
• Help and coordinate with line manager for any route surveys;
• Coordinate with Logistics service provider and warehouse manager about the possible condition and criticality of the designated route to job site during harsh weather conditions specially in winters or during possible rainy season or floods

Must Have: (Mandatory):

• At least 2 years of experience in renewables (or relative substation, PV plant, transmission lines). Fair enough understanding of logistics routes;
• Proficiency in English, Russian, Uzbek;
• Power Point presentation – Shall be able to make the Slides with icons, animations, links etc for reporting purposes;
• MS Word skills – Shall have the basic skills;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Good Communication Skills;
